I eyed this sweater all last season and finally went for it this year! I’m so happy with the feel of the cotton knit - it’s smooth, soft, and warm. The style and color are timeless and I’m sure I’ll have this sweater for years to come! I can’t wait to wear it over and over again.
I'd actually purchased this sweater previously, but the color was really bad for me. This time I got the orange color, and it's very bright, but that's okay by me. I usually wear Mediums in sweaters, but this one I like in a Small - it's just a bit oversized without being sloppy. It's plenty warm due to the heavy cotton, but not warm like a wool sweater. During transitional seasons it's just the thing.
Tradlands has been great in so many ways. First of all, they helped me to track my sweater’s long journey to me. Due to Covid shipping delays, it took some time. And customer service was super responsive to my inquiries. Next, the sweater. It’s literally perfect. I purchased a medium based off the size chart. (Not the size calculator, I don’t recommend that tool). Use the size chart. I’m 5’9” and 160ish lbs. I’m a little curvy and weight is distributed evenly. I have a fairly large chest, as I’m breastfeeding still. I’m normally a large. The large would still fit me, but it would be a very boxy, oversized look. The medium is GREAT. The material is fantastic and the quality unparalleled. That coupled with amazing customer service has me as a repeat customer. This sweater will not disappoint. Thanks, Tradlands!
I had this sweater in the sepia and decided to try it in the bright red, which is actually more of an orangey red, and not flattering to my pale complexion. Also, the sweater this year is more fitted, not the lovely boxy version from last year. I sure wish Tradlands would stick to one fit on these items, it's hard enough to order online without having to try to guess what an "updated fit" means. While I appreciate the commitment to sustainability, I doubt I will order from this company again--it's just too much of a hassle to get the right size, not to mention that the return/exchange information is kind of difficult to figure out unless you don't mind paying a ton of shipping costs.
